Spyware Can be a Good Thing
If you haven’t experienced the slow down of your computer and decrease in speed of your applications due to hidden, unknown installed “spyware” programs - more power to you. They are nasty. Your computer starts to crawl and sometimes the malicious ones [programs] are stealing your credit card information or other important identity data.
I’d probably have to assume however that you just don’t know you have the snooping mechanisms on your computer system. These programs are usually installed without your knowlege to track
So no one wants spyware - but sometimes it can be a good thing.
Such was the case recently when the FBI used spyware to catch a high school bomb threat offender.
