Baselining - Serious Newtonian Consequences

If you haven't heard, a combination sport of both slacklining and BASE-Jumping is making its debut in Moab. So, here's the idea. You stretch a 180 foot rope between a U-shaped canyon rim and balance your way from one side to another. When you fall, your BASE-Jumping chute hopefully saves your life.
