Vista “andLinux”

I had the pleasure of installing andLinux Beta 1 KDE Version over the weekend on my previously blogged about and underwhelming Vista Ultimate Dell XPS 1530. The result? I love my computer again. I was originally looking for a way to rsync files to windows from various remote Linux servers. Cgywin was close, but just didn't give me the functionality I wanted. Thanks to andLinux, I now have a fully operating Ubuntu distribution (cron jobs and all) running as a service on Vista. Be right back, need... read more!
