Cartoon Color Palettes

technology — jeffn @ 5:54 pm

Designers are always looking for new sources of inspiration. When I was in school I would spend hours in the library looking through old issues of Communications Arts and HOW Magazine. Design publications like the ones just mentioned are a good source of inspiration. But what do you do when you just can’t fine that muse? My answer is “just look around”. I thought it would be fun to take a look at my childhood. What could I possibly draw inspiration from there? Cartoons, of course!

I present to you the color schemes of cartoon classics.
