Microsoft SQL Server, living in the dark ages

I find myself having to interface with MsSql Server again, having been living happily with my more preferred open source database engine ( mysql ). HTTP HOST header fake

Just a quick tip, if you use the HOST: header in your applications, remember, don't use it anywhere critical to security because it can be faked by someone with the know how. Typo Table

I'm sure not everyone is a typography geek like me, but I bet anyone would love this table. I believe it comes from Crate and Barrel. The old world type paired with the contemporary shape make it one of a kind. Very cool! It's amazing how graphic design and furniture design have such a symbiotic relationship. Olympic Design

The Olympic games are always rich in creativity and design, but Beijing stands out among all the previous host cities. I find it interesting that a country who, not to long ago, threw their artist and creative thinkers in prison can pull of such an amazing spectacle. Comcast blocks port 25, headache for legitimate users

There have been plenty of rumors about comcast blocking port 25 for their home users ( the port used to transmit email on the internet ). Recently with a couple of our employees we have experienced this issue. Last evening I received a call from one of our employees complaining that he could not send email, the error in his email client saying that it could not connect to the smtp server. Make your own Photoshop keyboard shortcuts: Tutorial

Alright this may not be a tutorial, but helpful anyway. Photoshop allows you to create your own custom Keyboard shortcuts to suit your needs. Just press [Cmd + Opt + Shift + K] or go to [Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts]. Choose what you would like to create a shortcut for, e.g. tools. Then just simply set whichever key or key combo you would like for that particular action or tool. Give it a try.
