To Upgrade… Or not to Upgrade?
When Adobe announces a new Creative Suite many designers and companies are faced with the question of upgrading. Should I upgrade when the software is first available? Do I risk losing productivity while myself or my employees adjust? Do I wait a year and risk the software becoming obsolete in just a few months? Honestly I don’t have the answers to these questions. I have worked with people who upgrade every couple of years when Adobe releases a new product. I have also worked with people who upgrade every other time Adobe releases a product. I met another designer recently who is still using Photoshop 7 and does not plan on upgrading any time soon.
I don’t know what Lunawebs will do when CS4 comes out. What will you do?
