There’s no place like home.

Lately I have been noticing more and more websites eliminating the home link from their navigation all together. Is this where websites are headed? Render Me This, Render Me That…

One commonality with modern editing software (Vegas on the PC, or Final Cut Pro on the Mac) is that they are hardware independent. Not so long ago, software came with it's own hardware card that would aid in the running of the software (often taking the processing burden away from main computer) and show layered effects in realtime. This, of course, made the whole package more expensive and developers soon went away from bundling expensive hardware and focused just on the code. Want to speed up ... read more!

What is GD?

GD is a computer programming library used by many programmers to perform image manipulation/creation tasks. It is very commonly used in php for tasks such as resizing images or creating a CAPTCHA image ( a measure used to prove that you are a person and not a robot ).
