Mac Tips - Fun with Command + Tab

Here's a little trick you Mac users may not know. Everyone knows you can tab through open applications by using the Command key with the tab key, but there are a couple tricks you may not be aware of. Thunderbird tricks to fight spam

Many of us use a desktop email client for our mail, although the switch to using web based apps like gmail/yahoo for mail is quite high many of us still use a desktop email client at least while at work. Why Social Media?

There are limitless possibilities with the web nowadays to get your name out there. Traditional forms of branding (although important and valued) should be complimented with online marketing efforts including social media. For example, Coca Cola, has a FaceBook page. It's amazing to me how technology has increased to the point that you can get video out to the masses with lighting speed. The Future of Social Media Marketing

Over the weekend I logged into my Facebook account and was greeted by numerous requests that I join this cause or participate in this quiz. Url rewriting

You may frequent sites who make use of url rewriting to create fancier and cleaner urls. Many websites these days are driven dynamically by database applications instead of coded in html by hand with static files. This means that the url you are accessing may or may not have a file by that name sitting behind the server on the hard drive. It Doesn’t Matter What You Shoot On

"If you want to be a filmmaker, start making films." I have no idea who said this, or if anyone really did.
