Alternative to sending large files over email

Thunderbird delete bypass trash

Nifty trick, in thunderbird when you want to delete an email and skip sending it to trash. Do a shift-delete ( hold down shift then hit delete key ). This will skip the trash and purge that email right away. Be careful though, this does clear it out immediately, be cautious not to delete anything you don't want deleted. ... read more!

How to Whitelist Emails

I recently pulled some information from websites that had done some research on various email clients and ISPs to determine how to instruct users the best way to whitelist emails. Many websites these days allow users to fill out forms. RBL - Blacklisted by Comcast

We have just been blacklisted by comcast even though we run a very clean email server. I have filled out the Comcast blacklist removal form and am waiting a reply. Just posting here to see if other server admins just recently had problems with Comcast blacklisting. We only host accounts we are familiar with.
