Alright this may not be a tutorial, but helpful anyway.
Photoshop allows you to create your own custom Keyboard shortcuts to suit your needs. Just press [Cmd + Opt + Shift + K] or go to [Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts]. Choose what you would like to create a shortcut for, e.g. tools. Then just simply set whichever key or key combo you would like for that particular action or tool. Give it a try.
Hint: A useful tool that does not have a default keyboard shortcut is the single row marquee tool. Set a keyboard shortcut. I guarantee you will find yourself using it.
