I have been using an Apple computer since the Macintosh SE (I was in grade school) and have not run into this problem until today. Apparently Macs cannot write to an NTFS drive. Go figure. I thought there was something wrong with the files, but after a quick Google search I discovered that NTFS and Mac are not compatible. I can read files and copy files down, but can't write. I guess NTFS is a proprietary Microsoft format. NT as in Windows NT and FS and in file system. I'm not happy...
