This guy has some amazing talent no doubt. So he spends about $300 bucks to make a short with incredible motion graphics and effects. I'm sure he spent a lot of time, but didn't have to spend a lot of money. The attention grabs him a contract for 30m - yes MILLION.
No wonder he landed the contract. This is block buster million dollar budget type material without the cost. If you could save all your budget for marketing/advertising and a bit more for actors, crew and set, your ROI is much higher.
